Kelli brings to Suite 101 her experience as a writer and book reviewer for Edwards and Ascent magazines, as well as freelance editor for books, manuals and PhD theses. She has written on topics in women's issues, community development, yoga, and spirituality. With a background in English literature, writing and editing, she is equally passionate about the movement arts as for the language arts. Having trained and performed in contemporary dance, contact improvisation, and hula hoping, as well studying somatic forms, such as yoga, shiatsu and Reiki massage, Kelli is engaged in a lifelong exploration of the human body, She is currently working on a series of poems based on the body in movement, and is excited to be sharing her passions with Suite 101 readers and writers.
